Monitor Strikes replace the standard box strike and add a tripper that is depressed when the latchbolt is fully inserted in the strike. The tripper is stainless steel and activates an electric switch.

The 4263 is non-handed and features horizontal adjustment to compensate for misalignment of door and frame. The faceplate is drop forged brass. The tripper selection (-T1 or -T3) is based upon the lock to be used with. Two 4263 strikes may be used on 4754 mullion.
