Camden's Wiegand Receivers are designed to integrate seamlessly with existing access control systems, supporting both long and short-range access applications. Users can operate barrier gates or overhead doors from up to 300 feet (100 meters) away by pressing one of two buttons. Additionally, the same transmitter can be used in conjunction with a card reader, providing a conventional access credential. Both the button presses and the card reader will transmit identical 26-bit Wiegand ID numbers, allowing for smooth management of multiple users within the access control database.
